The 16th century English carol 'Coventry Carol' has been arranged by Steven Duckworth for a mixed SATB choir.
 
The a cappella piece refers to the Massacre of the Innocents when King Herod ordered all boys under two to be killed. This lullaby is what the mothers of those children sang.
