We are a family business that has been created to produce and sell high-quality, varied and interesting music with detailed scores to help.
Our passion for music and extensive experience has driven us to publish nothing but excellent music at the highest quality.

Duckworth Publications is a father - daughter project who are excited to start this business together. We recognise what good music not only sounds like but also looks like on the page and hope our detailed scores can offer something special to our customers.

WHY WE CREATED DUCKWORTH PUBLICATIONS
From our background working with community choirs, we recognise how difficult it can be to find suitable scores to teach a mixed-ability community choir.
​
Scores are often too easy for some, or too challenging for others. We have been creating fresh arrangements for choirs with this in mind and have decided it is time to share our work by setting up Duckworth Publications.

Our first set of publications in 'The Community Choral Series' aims to provide scores that are both rewarding to sing for experienced singers whilst remaining accessible to non-music readers and a gratifying challenge for all.
OUR STORY
After Jessica was fortunate enough to attend some work experience in music publishing, she was inspired to create a company. She spoke to her Dad about this and with his amazing music on hand (that has never been published before) it seemed like the right time to incorporate their own experiences, of leading and teaching choirs, and launch Duckworth Publications.
